C. Michael Walton

C. Michael Walton，德州大学奥斯汀分校土木建筑及环境工程系Ernest H. Cockrell终身教授，美国工程院院士。美国智能交通系统学会(ITS)创建人之一，曾担任ITS学会董事会主席、美国公路及交通建设商协会(ARTBA)主席、美国运输委员会(TRB)执委会主席、美国国家研究委员会(NRC)董事会常务委员、美国土木工程学会(ASCE)交通及发展学会董事会成员。

　　C. Michael Walton教授因在公路研究方面取得的杰出成就，获得George S. Bartlett奖(公路交通研究方面的最高奖)、W. N Carey杰出服务成就奖、杰出讲师、S. Steinberg奖、Joe J. King奖和ilbur S. Smith杰出教育学者奖等荣誉。近年来，C. Michael Walton教授主持完成美国交通部项目2项，得克萨斯州交通厅项目7项，发表学术论文及专著400余篇(部)。
